2. Data We Collect

2.1 Data You Provide Directly

All vehicle and record data you enter is stored locally on your device. This includes:

• Vehicle information: brand, model, year, license plate, VIN, color, mileage, fuel type, transmission, purchase date, purchase price, insurance expiry date, inspection expiry date, notes, and vehicle photos.
• Service records: service type, date, mileage, cost, location, parts, and notes.
• Fuel and charging records: date, amount (liters or kWh), unit price, total cost, odometer reading, fuel station name, fuel type, and EV charging metrics.
• Reminders: title, type, due date, due mileage, completion status, and notes.
• Profile photo and currency preference.

This data is not transmitted to our servers. We do not operate any external backend or server infrastructure.

2.2 Data Collected Automatically

We do not collect analytics, crash reports, or usage statistics through any first-party or third-party analytics service.

2.3 Advertising Data

The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. Google may collect and process certain data in connection with serving ads, including:

• Device identifiers (such as IDFA, if you grant tracking permission).
• IP address.
• General location (derived from IP address, not precise GPS).
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks).
• Device and OS information.

2.4 App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

On iOS 14.5 and later, the App requests your permission through the App Tracking Transparency framework before accessing your device's advertising identifier (IDFA). You may grant or deny this permission. If denied, ads will still be shown but will not be personalized based on cross-app tracking data. You can change this setting at any time in your device's Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely for the following purposes:

• To provide the core functionality of the App (vehicle management, service tracking, fuel logging, reminders, statistics, and PDF report generation).
• To store your preferences (currency selection, profile photo).
• To send local push notifications for reminders you create.
• To display advertisements through Google AdMob.
• To enable optional iCloud backup and restore functionality.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

Under the GDPR, we process your data based on the following legal grounds:

• Consent: For advertising personalization and tracking (ATT permission). You may withdraw consent at any time through your device settings.
• Contract performance: To provide the App's core features as described in our terms.
• Legitimate interest: To display non-personalized advertisements that support the free availability of the App.

5. Data Storage and Security

5.1 Local Storage

All vehicle data, service records, fuel records, reminders, and preferences are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework (SQLite database) and UserDefaults. This data remains on your device unless you explicitly enable iCloud backup.

5.2 iCloud Backup

If you enable iCloud backup within the App, your data is uploaded to your private iCloud container using Apple's CloudKit service. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is accessible only to you. Apple manages iCloud infrastructure and applies its own security measures. 5.3 Security Measures

We rely on the security mechanisms provided by Apple's iOS platform, including:

• On-device encryption provided by iOS.
• Sandboxed app storage.
• CloudKit encryption for iCloud data.
• App Transport Security for all network communications.

We do not store any of your data on external servers under our control.

6. Data Sharing

We share data with the following third parties only as described:

• Google (AdMob): Receives advertising-related data as described in Section 2.3. Google acts as an independent data controller for this data.
• Apple (CloudKit/iCloud): Receives your backup data only if you enable iCloud backup. Apple acts as a data processor under its own privacy terms.

We do not share your data with any other third parties.

7. Data Retention

• Local data: Retained on your device until you delete it within the App or uninstall the App.
• iCloud backup data: Retained in your iCloud account until you delete it through the App's backup management feature or through iCloud settings.
• Advertising data: Retained by Google according to Google's data retention policies.

We do not retain any of your data on our own servers.

8. Your Rights

Under the GDPR and other applicable laws, you have the following rights:

• Right of access: You may request information about what personal data we process.
• Right to rectification: You may correct inaccurate data directly within the App.
• Right to erasure: You may delete your data within the App at any time. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data. iCloud backups can be deleted through the App or iCloud settings.
• Right to restrict processing: You may deny tracking permission to restrict ad personalization.
• Right to data portability: You may export your data as a PDF report or JSON backup file through the App's export features.
• Right to withdraw consent: You may withdraw tracking consent at any time through your device's Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking.
• Right to lodge a complaint: You have the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe your data protection rights have been violated.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such data.

10. International Data Transfers

Your advertising data may be transferred to and processed by Google in countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Google implements appropriate safeguards for such transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. For details, see Google's data transfer framework.

If you enable iCloud backup, Apple may process your data in data centers located in various countries. Apple maintains compliance with applicable data transfer regulations. See: Apple's Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
